house

House is a medical television drama in America. It is also known as House, M.D. It premiered on the Fox network on November 16 2004 and has produced 70 episodes over the last three seasons. The creator of the drama was David Shore.

The storyline:
Dr. Gregory House is medical genius, who heads a team of diagnosticians at the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey. The show begins by showing the main patient prior to arriving to the hospital in most cases, to give you an idea of what happens prior to the symptoms that lead them to the hospital. You then follow along with the team of diagnosticians until they discover what is causing the illness.

Dr. Gregory House played by Hugh Laurie is the Head of the Department of Diagnostic Medicine. He is also a diagnostician, specializing in infectious diseases and nephrology
Dr. Lisa Cuddy played by Lisa Edelstein is the Dean of Medicine; Endocrinology
Dr. Eric Foreman played by Omar Epps Fellow with specialities in Diagnostic Medicine; neurology
Dr. James Wilson played by Robert Sean Leonard is the Oncology Department Head
Dr. Allison Cameron played by Jennifer Morrison Fellow is an immunologist
Dr. Robert Chase played by Jesse Spencer Fellow with speicalities in Intensive care medicine
